I never thought I would be so excited by a new bedspread and a couple of pillows....

But something about having my own bed for the first time in over 1 year was a little overwhelming.

So I'm back in Oz, busy gigging and absolutely ecstatic about an upcoming gig at the East Brunswick Club with band members for the first time in over 1 year. While Dan's absence will surely be missed, I am itching to share the stage with Clare, Cath, Cat and Jake again after many many gigs playing solo overseas. There is something about the energy of many bodies on stage that I have missed and love.

As for travelling, the bug seems to have disappeared, and for the forseeable future I am very happy just to base myself on Australia's not so sunny shores.

Thanks for all the support I had over the trip and settling back in. I've got a whole lot of new songs, and can't wait to belt them out at a venue near you soon.
