Anyone who knows me will know that I have been a rather big fan of John Butler for a rather long time. Not just because I would one day love to channel his guitar playing abilities, but also because of his commitment to so many social justice causes....

And now it turns out I am going to meet the rather talented bloke in the flesh!

I've just found out that I've received a JB Seed grant to meet up with JB and his crew in November. Rather good timing as the album will be well and truly ready to be released by then.

Ahh, the album. With the likes of Phil, Cat, Jake, Clare and Cath being involved, it was always going to have potential, but thanks to Nick, its taken a whole new beautiful shape I could never have imagined.

And to make an album with your friends - it just doesn't get much better than that.
