Greetings everyone,
While we are waiting (and still waiting) for Drakonia Sektoria to be release, label
BIDADARI DESEKRATORS LEGION REX (BDLR) is almost on the verge of releasing the re-release of Sulphurous Domain in CD format with 3 bonus from
KSK Anno 97 debut demo. Check out the big flyer at the top of the
KSK's myspace page or at
BDLR own myspace:
www.myspace.com/desekratorsovbidadari It is interesting to take note that all the stuffs in this release has no way got the modern, more updated sounds and ideas in current
KSK's audioscope.
KSK has gone way further from Sulphurous Domain. BUT if you are someone who are into collecting Asian's extreme metal or may have heard that we had release Sulphurous Domain but never managed to own it (due to the lack of publicity when it was 1st release in MC format), here's your chance. Be sure to grab it as it is only available for 500 copies.
It is also interesting to know that during Sulphurous Domain was philosophized and materialized, it was hard to see any other bands from Singapore that perform at the minimum of 7 min++ to maximum 11min ++ of melodic black metal. During those time,
KSK was highly influence by
OLD MAN'S CHILD (Born of Flickering),
SAMAEL (Ceremony of Opposition & Blood Ritual) &
EMPEROR (Anthems to the Wilkins) and there are still some bits of doom metal variations leftovers in it. So somehow, I feel that
KSK was special on that. I never tried to create songs in Sulphurous Domain that is entirely melodic or chaotic. Balance with variations was the key works to me.
Thus, with 'Been there, done that, now let's move on' attitude, I steer
KSK flagship towards a rather turmoil region of mixing black metal with electro sounds after that. For me, Sulphurous Domain was a defining moment as I craved out my style for
KSK that it had help us to become a band that was different from the rest during those time.
Blissful In Isolation,
