So I'll be honest. I absolutely hated Philadelphia with the passion of a thousand burning suns up until two weeks ago, when I moved into a BEAUTIFUL apartment with an AMAZING roommate in one of the best areas in town. Life is good, my classes are good, and I'm finally starting to meet some new people.
I've also met some... old... people? Hm. I've reconnected with my friend Saray, a wonderful girl I went to high school with, and as fate decided to have it, she works two blocks away from where I live. She also has an amazing boyfriend.
While the people in my classes have remained somewhat distant, I've met a handful of awesome grad students, all of whom are total sweethearts. So that's good. I met an awesome gal named Katie who has taken me on romantic outings to places as exotic as Ikea and fancy as wine parties with pre-med students. Then there's Geetu who loves math more then anything in the world, and Caitlin who hates Urban Outfitters, but goes there with me anyway.
Also, I'm learning how to cook. And how to furnish an apartment.
So life here is good.
And it got a lot better this weekend.
A bunch of my close high school friends came down to visit. Darlene, Charlene, Maria, Mike, Eric, and John all packed into a tiny car and hung out for the day. Saray stopped by for lunch. Here's some photos from our day that I thought I'd share with everyone.

Here's what the living room of my apartment looks like. Everyone is happy, laughing, and enjoying the lovely view. Fact, I can see the sunrise outside my window as it comes up behind a church. It's quite gorgeous.

John and I are beached whales at the fountain in Logan Square.

John approves. Perky and quite firm.

I can see myself in Mike's eyes. He never fails to make me swoon.

Buffalo Sauce... get it? His name is Eric Saucedo... we call him Sauce... he's on a Buffalo... *sigh*

My friends are all so damn good looking.

Yeah, we were THOSE people. Here we are at the Philadelphia Municipals Building. My buddy Geetu first took me here when I moved to Philly, and it was quite an awesome experience.

Mike is emo.

She's adorable.

Someday her prince will come.

SERIOUSLY. So damn good looking.

Cue Rocky Theme!

Sauce and Charlene aren't gonna make it!

And neither am I. Helppp!

Yay! We made it! Fact 2: You know a shirt has shrunk far too much in the laundry when you can see your (totally awesome) sky blue boxers when you lift your arms. Oops.

Nooooooooooooo!!!

And lastly, this is for everyone who is concerned that I'm not getting any action here in Philly. Aww yeah baby.
More updates to follow. My new website will be launching in the coming days, so be on the look out for that. It'll be a blog / portfolio, so yay! More writing, more adventures, more
hot nudes pictures.
