Really just a note to say how overwhelmed we have been with the response from these last two Mini Tours. All Venues have been at capacity or above and the enthusiasm and love from the audience has been something we will remember for a long time to come. The significant thing about these Shows has been the atmosphere, always like a Celebration, friendly and unified, people have been drawn in from all sorts of 'scenes'to enjoy the Music and express what it has meant to them.
I told a story a couple of times on this last Tour (mainly to cover up the technical fuck ups that were going on in the background

) about how i had disapeared from the Scene some twenty odd years ago and never gone back, how i really wasnt sure if people 'got' what we were trying to say.I was worried that we would be percieved as some kid of negative influence, when in fact the whole thrust of Amebix had been about giving people the tools to empower their own lives and to Rise above adversity.
If i was worried then i need'nt have been, so many people did 'get it' and i have met a whole load of those people this time around.
Highlights included a Bike ride in Oregon with Brad and the Ducati crew,a drunken Karaoke and subsequent secret show at the Know, the sheer intensity of the Atmosphere in Minneapolis and the times with Jon Misery and Leffer, the Madness of Montreal,Jannicks Bar and the good people of that City.
I am back home and getting used to the silence again before the next leg,Dublin/London/Hellfest and Glasgow,so w hope to see you all out there and raise a glass or two..
Drink and Be Merry!
