Ah, nice weather has kinda woken me from a bit of a slump. I've got alot of "busy" work, but I have a few new project ideas coming up as well.

I'm actually about halfway into tackling the recode of alot of the darksev.com website. Most of that page is easily 8 years old, at least underneath all the shiny shiny. One of the big challenges is converting the various galleries to flash/XML based pages. I've also moved over to a really nifty script based update system for them, rather than me haveing to update images manually. I'm not a programmer, so I can't tell you how it works, just that it does :P

I've got at least two new knives coming up, for those that like that kinda thing. One is a REALLY cool project. I'm doing a customize job for a friends son. it may not sound like alot, but it'll be his first pocketknife, and that's a big deal, at least for me. 20 years later I still remember the exact moment I got mine, and I still have it, in the case here next to me.

I've also got a project that really going to test me. It'll be a purposeful complete rebuild of a really spiffy looking little knife. I don't want to spoil it yet, but I've got some really great new wood coming in for just this project.

In the meantime, I'll be regrinding the blades on these cheap-ass India made throwing hawks. I didn't expect much from a 25$ 'hawk, but man, these were BAD. I probably removed about half the thickness on the head from the completed one, but it sticks like a dream now. 2 left to do.
