People are talking outside the hotel room. It might be the band or it could be a bunch of gang bangers. Im listening to You and Me on my lap top by Keef Hartley Band. The album is Lancashire Hustler. Get with my vibe. I'm in Denver. Just had a crazy night. I can't sleep if the air conditioner isn't on, not because I'm cold, but because I like the sound. The lights are off. Computer screen is bright. I'm sharing a room with my tour manager. My drummer and bassist have a room to themselves. I just was thinking a lot tonight about this tour. Some shows were sold out, a few shows were hardly attended. But, the most important thing thats made this tour worthwhile is my fans, who have now become friends... If a room was almost empty, you were all front row. Your support is the most important thing to me.
What you all have given me (and you all know who you are) is the reassurance that genuine, heartfelt music from the blood, weight and depth of humanity will exist and continue to thrive. To all those who have supported me thus far, I give you my greatest thanks.
This journey that I have embarked on since I dropped out of school and threw caution to every wind along the way has now come to fruition.
I am so thankful. Thank you to to everyone who has jumped in at this early stage. I promise I will make it worthwhile.
All my love,
Robert
