Mühsam ernährt sich das Eichhörnchen. Und wenn man dieses Sprichwort auf unser Album bezieht, dann würde ich sogar sagen, dieses Eichhörnchen wird immer dicker. Yessir, ein riesiges, adipöses Sciurus vulgaris.
Die weiblichen Vocals sind endlich "im Kasten", die Organisation an der Sache war das langwierigste. Und oben drauf hat der Manu auch schon mit dem Mixen angefangen, bei einigen Tracks!! (Außerdem hat Manu sich sein Traumamp gekauft, soll heißen die Record Release Party kann kommen...)
Jetzt fehlen nur noch die Bläser und der Herrenchor ist sogar schon gebucht. Ich sollte jetzt noch schleunigst meine Stimme klar bekommen, ist nämlich total belegt zur Zeit (verdammte Sommererkältung!!) Aber das wird schon hab ja noch'n paar Tage Zeit.
Der Spirit ist da, wir arbeiten hier mit menschenverachtendem, bestialischem und arbeitskraftzehrendem Hochdruck an unserem musikalischen Gasleck. :-)

Ach ja, wenn ihr ganz brav seid, und euch still verhaltet (das is' wie mit den Schlümpfen) findet Ihr auf Youtube vielleicht ein neues Video von einem alten Song.

'Sup?
We are getting there, slowly but surely. The female vocals are wrapped up and they sound great, not very motown-y but that's the composer's fault (that's me). Cause I'm just not very good at faking we're a motown band, at least not vocal-wise. And Manu has even started mixing yet! The "winds-section" is still to be recorded and the men's choir, too. But the latter one is already booked. I'm just gonna have to get my voice up and running again since I'm having a nice summer-cold right now, but I'll get there.
So, the spirit is here we're gonna work our butts off and all is gonna be fine and dandy.
Until then, word is there might be a new video of an old song on youtube, but I'm not gonna tell:-)
