A Trio of Comedies

HA! is a regional premiere of three of the most popular one-act comedies of Rich Orloff.  Beginning with Oedi,  a silly spoof of the Greek Tragedy Oedipus Rex that explores how modern society and morals might embrace the Greek King's tragic flaws.  Then jump ahead in theatre history to a dark yet hilarious  Checkovian parody entitled The News from St. Petersburg.  The Collection is concluded with an existential experimental sci-fi inspired modern play called The Whole Shebang which wonders if the entire universe as we know it was only one student's science project, and if so what would be our grade?  Would we pass?

And you get this wonderful theatrical sampler of Greek Tragedy, Checkov Play and Modern Philosophical all under 100 minutes including 1 intermission.  The show is rated PG-13 only for some minor language, but fun, enlightening and educational for all senses of humor and appetites for art.
