Ugh what a few days, ok heres the deal i do reseller hosting which means I buy hosting space and resell it. I started doing this so I could have more control over the hosting for my clients that I design thier sites. I found a company that is local and from reviews and stuff I read they are pretty much tops in hosting and very reliable. And from what I have experienced very good with responding to tech support questions at all hours of the night.
So anyways this past Weds they had some issue that shut down the core router so everyones websites went down for a good 45 mins once they got it back up and running the mail servers have been whacked ever since. UGH
My one client has one address that is bouncing emails saying it doesn't exist when I'm looking right at it on the admin backend that yes it does. Thankfully support is looking into it but now these clients are saying you said when we switched to the new company we would be dealing with outages like this anymore. We can't be having this our customers think we are going out of business. Now I know thier business greatly relies on email as that is the main form of communication for them between customers and employees but damn this stuff happens, thye can only gaurantee they are up 99.8f the time thats means there are going to be times an issues happens and the works shut down. Computers have issues and that is a fact of life.
Ok done with my rant I just don't get how people think that everything will run smoothly ALL of the time.
