Lots has been going on at Cupcakes Take the Cake.

Two big things are:

A contest to win a copy of Rosie Wilde's novel Life's Too Short to Frost a Cupcake. Just leave a comment on our blog in this thread (NOT on MySpace) telling us a book you've read this summer and your email address.



Also, we're pitching a panel to South by Southwest (SXSW) Interactive 2009, the major conference in Austin, Texas, and we'd love your vote. It's called "Nom Nom Nom: The Secrets of Successful Foodblogging," and will feature Rachel from Cupcakes Take the Cake moderating, Nichelle from Cupcakes Take the Cake as a panelist, along with Zach Brooks of Midtown Lunch, Cathy Erway of Not Eating Out in New York, and Hunter Walker, formerly of Gridskipper (panelists subject to change).

All you have to do is go create an account, log in and then give our panel 5 stars. It's very quick and we'd really appreciate it.
