As many of you know we were involved in a serious bus crash while out on tour. This happened in Missouri, and if you haven't heard anything, and are curious about the details, check out this link
HEREThanks to everyone for the amazing display of support! We're extremely gratified to be a part of the Denver music scene.
We want to let everyone know that Savage Henry is doing well. We have some logistics to work out in order to get home, but all of us are up and about with only minor bruises and scratches. Here's the quick status update:
Damon - wasn't on the bus, saved by laziness
Stu - shook up, scraped, but still pretty
John - giant bruise on left shin, lost shoe, found shoe shortly after
Mike - knocked out, but seems to be smarter after waking up
Glenn - barely noticed that it happened
OK, enough of the amateur comedy...
Chris, our driver definitely got the worst of it,
but it looks like he's going to be OK. He has family driving out to
Kansas City that should arrive soon, so he will have help here until
he's able to travel.
Grace (the Potcheen bus) did not fare so well, as you can see from the pictures on the news page.
We're extremely happy to report that the driver of the FedEx truck was not seriously injured. Stu and John were talking to him immediately after the accident, and he was doing fine.
Of course we would have preferred that none of this happened in the first place, but given the outcome, we feel pretty damn lucky. If you know Chris (aka Jedibongo), give him a call and send some love his way.
Again, THANK YOU. We look forward to seeing you all soon. We love you guys!
Peace,
Stu, John, Damon, Mike, Glenn
