  Still quite a bit of scurfuffle about HR 875’s Food Safety Modernization Act mentioned in my last entry. To be fair, here is a debunking of the Monsanto/Big Brother fears from FactCheck.org. At Reality Sandwich’s article Organic Outlaws
  a commenter also attempts to allay the panic, citing a couple of
  interesting links to a blog about the recent Congressional hearings on
  topic. However, another commenter asks not to ’sell out our children’s
  health’ and links to eye-opening instructions on how to register one’s farm with the FDA,
  and who is exempt: unless ALL your homegrown food is consumed ON
  PROPERTY you’re supposed to ‘register’. Huh. Does that include sharing
  your tomatoes with your neighbors??
