Welcome to KiNDERGARTEN's post-gig diaries. We'll be recapping the events leading up to and following our local NYC gigs from now on. Keep reading... the stories can get pretty interesting.

Last night's show was a doozy. I had tonsils the size of golf balls, and Sakura was puking all day long. With 2 sick band members (and 2 other band members who are just sick in the head) we barely made it through the night.

However, I managed to sing through my golf balls, which actually provided me with a nice, coarse tone to my usually sweet and beautiful voice. Sakura managed not to puke all over her keyboards and Yancy managed not to hit on anyone while playing on stage. Zach was, um, Zach.

The show ended up being a nice little low-key, intimate kind of thing and worked out pretty nicely. If any of you have ever been to Alphabet Lounge, you'll know that the cans are up next to the stage. So we had a clear view of anyone who had to go 1 or 2. These two trannies kept going in and out of the bathroom, and I had to stop myself from making comments into the microphone about how long they were in there. I mean, what did they eat?? My mind wanders.

When we got back to our studio and unloaded our stuff, despite being sick, we still managed to knock back a coupla shots of Beam. Hey, you only live once... might as well live it sick and drunk.
