The elevate tour is an initiative of the corresponding festival with the aim to introduce young Austrian artists internationally and to communicate the programme of the elevate festival.
With six stops in four countries and 25 artists the tour will provide the interested listener with a wide range of our nations young musical talents. Also included –
the elevate compilation 2008 – completely free!
The tour stop in Graz includes a screening of the Danish documentary "Good Copy Bad Copy" (2007) which is shown free of charge in the second floor of the Postgarage. As an introduction to the topic of this years festival "elevate – the commons" this film will shed light on the current status of copyright issues and (free) culture in the web. The soundtrack features artists like De La Soul, Grey-Album-Mixer DJ Danger Mouse and Girltalk from Pittsburgh.
