Hi there !

Caught your attention didn't we?! Haha relax, we're not breaking up !
However, we made a decision as a band, to change our name right before we release our very first album. Why? It's actually simple. If you make a search for "Dreamcatcher" on the internet, you will find many different web pages about bands, projects or artists sharing that same name. As an original band, we would also like to be unique in our own genre. So, when we realised that there are 4 other bands in our province (and thats not all) with our name, it was obvious that we had to do something about it.

Therefore, october 8th will be the end of Dreamcatcher. It will be our last gig under that name. From now on, we'll call ourselves SOULCAGED. It is catchy, strong, as a deeper meaning (if you consider Jim's lyrics) and is definitely metal.
It's also the title of a song we had on our demo. So, in order to take this name and keep that song on the album, we changed it to "The noble and the peasant"
(which also have more to do with the song's lyrics). By the way, that very song was recorded with a special guest. We'll announce our secret singer later on ;p
