Franks Steak House is of course mentioned and when talking about Franks the conversation is NOT complete without mentioning our very own Preacher JACK's relationship with this venerable house of sizzlin steaks:
Frank's Steakhouse
"Back when Cambridge allowed smoking indoors, my friends and I would camp out at Frank's with packs of 120 smokes, playing Keno while the boogie-woogie sounds of Preacher Jack kept our ears dancing. These days, the only smoke comes from the grill, where mammoth slabs of cow have been sizzling since 1940 (1938, if you count their first two years spent across the street). They host the campy cabaret of John O'Neil Saturdays, Jack still makes appearances and Keno is very much a fixture."
