In case you didn't already know, on the 16th of October (a week tomorrow as I write this) the BBC will be broadcasting a programme called 'Synth Britannia', focusing on the electronic pop scene from the early 70s to the mid-80s. It goes out at 21:00 on BBC Four.

The programme will be 90 minutes long. Hopefully it will be available on the
BBC 'iPlayer' after it has been broadcast, but there is no guarantee of that, of course.
With any luck it might be of pretty good quality, being the BBC. I do hope so. The era needs some representation as something other than 'wedding-disco anthem' fodder!
