Spiral Bath in the southern hemisphere of our planet there exists a fairly common species of migratory birds which propogate so quickly that only a ruse of nature safeguards us from a horrendous nightmare each year they darnken the heavens above west africa where they gather for their passage across the atlantic ocean only half of them reach south america ninety percent falling dead from exhaustion into the middle of the sea at the point where scientists assume that millions of years ago the great land mass broke apart into two entirely seperate continents the birds began to circle frantically seeking their land there where it no longer exists their instinct preserved over millions of years guiding them to their exhausted death only the msot insensitive reach the nether shore Rebecca Horn, 1979
