Current mood:  busy
Is the title of my brand new Melbourne Comedy fest show.
and so, without further ado, i present, the blurb!

In October 2006 Andrew was nearly beaten up by a gang of angry "youths". When all seemed lost he was saved at the last moment by a skinhead and felt immense and confusing middle-class guilt about the whole affair. Eager to encourage others to become as genial as he is, Andrew presents his somewhat ambitious solution to the world's problems.

Religion, politics, race and free ice cream for all. Both the problems and the solutions lie somewhere amongst these important considerations. Andrew's going to work it out and invites you to join in and become part of the solution (in general).

One of Australia's most exciting young comics, Andrew has toured with the Melbourne International Comedy Festival Roadshow, performed at the Edinbrugh Fringe three times and 2007 marks his ninth consecutive Melbourne International Comedy Festival. He is in constant demand as an M.C. and headline act across the country.  A past recipient of the Comedians' Choice Award, Andrew's previous shows include "The Somewhat Accurate History of Pirates", "The Somewhat Secret Secret Society Show", and last years smash hit "Mix Tape". So far in 2007 Andrew has recorded an episode of ABC TV's Spicks and Specks and been the only stand-up invited to appear at Melbourne's Big Day Out.  Andrew's busy touring schedule in 2007 also includes seasons at the Adelaide Fringe and New Zealand Comedy Festival.

"one of the most infectiously joyful and enthusiastic comics in Australia" Chortle

"astute, funny and intelligent.. a genuinely entertaining show." The Age

Fancy isn't it?

Love the title of the new show - are you coming to the UK this year?

I was just telling my friend about Anne Bonney & Mary Read, which prompted the question 'how DO you know all this?'.... and an enthusiastic rant about your piratical show.
