I belong to a remarkable online community call FlyerTalk. It's where I have learned to travel cheaply and well, and made a lot of friends besides.

Two FlyerTalkers, BEYFlier in Beirut and Dovster in Yiron, Israel, have been carrying on a dialogue since before the latest hostilities. Others comment from time to time as well. It is a unique perspective from two very different viewpoints, from people who really have more similarites than differences.
