Espers soundtracking as an early morning tea fingers the cobwebs from my brain. Room suddenly swathed in darkness as another storm descends on the city; hopefully, it will have rolled off into the South Moravian countryside by the time I have to head out. That time isn't far off, so I'd best get on with the facts which really matter, the tracks from this week's show, which focussed on sounds from Germany and Austria and gave full rein to my ability to mangle languages other than English - apologies to all German speakers!
 So, where did I begin?

11) EROC: Das Irrsinnslied /7.39/ from 'Zwei'/ Brain Records 1976

And that was how we went out. With a cough, courtesy of the zany Herr Ehrig. I'm sure there'll be another show dedicated to sounds from Germany and Austria very soon - I had to cut two I'd intended to play due to time constraints (even with these cuts, the show overran by two or three minutes) and while making the selections, a long process due to my indecisiveness, discovered several other pieces well-deserving an airing.
Thanks are due this week to Valina - your help is much-appreciated!
Time for a weather check now - hmm, a quick glance out the window reveals an apparently gloomy scene, but maybe blue sky isn't far off....
'Til next time - wishing you all a myriad of delightful sonic experiences,
Shiny x
