Many of you may not be aware that i was once the most sought after hand model in the South-West of Australia in the 1963/64 season. Hand modelling at that time was a fledgling industry stuggling to gain the respect of the wider modelling community and my work was heralded in many circles as the bright spark that would bring hand modelling to the world stage. i was being groomed to be the first superhandmodel..
I understand that this all seems slighty ridiculous but please, if you will, take some time to appreciate my work from that period and im sure you will come to understand the grace of beauty of hand modelling...
This was my first ever shoot... my photographer asked me to imagine i was about
to eat a bowl of stars and melted snow and he was playing music
composed by spider monkeys. you can feel the innocence leaking out of my eyeballs

OMG! A Tiger has wrapped its tenticles around my spine!

one of my idols, the fab Mr Silky McDuffy.. this is from his green
period, where he would only work in silloette.. he says he was
exploring his dark side and i think it really shows in this piece.. his
dark shadow is simply sublime.. his passion just leaps off the page and
smacks you in the tits dont you think? its so poinent in these dark
shadow times

i was a blonde for a brief stint in the summer of '04
before you read on dear reader.. i must warn you that this story does not have a happy ending.. far from it.. for it is at this time that i must introduce to you the character of Fingers McGee.. or just 'Handsome' which is what he was known as in the scene..
Handsome was indeed Handsome, and there is a reason why the word has 'hand' in it.. Fingers had it all, long slender fingers that seemingly went all the way to heaven, skin that was like a teardrop on a popsicle and nails that were pinker than bovine kerato-conjunctivitis. Pretty soon, Fingers was getting many of the jobs that had previously been mine and rumours started to spread around the South-West of a fierce rivalry..
i wasnt overly concerned, the industry had grown to accomodate the two of us and i had other projects that kept me busy, like my 80s synth pop band and my organic chemisty lab.... but Fingers was slightly more ambitious than i ever suspected..
Its no secret that drug use if rampant in the modelling industry and the hand modelling scene was no different in those days.. but in Fingers quest to the be the best he over did it and pretty soon he was a paranoid and violent character who would stop at nothing to get to the top.. and i was the only thing left standing in his way...
one night as i walked to my car after a particuarly gruelling shoot that went late in the night i was approached by a hooded character who asked me if i could lend him a stapler, not having one on me, he proceeded to get aggitated and next thing i know i in hospital with my precious hand torn to pieces...

the doctors did everything they could to save my thumb but they told me that i would never model again..

i was utterly distraught.. hand modelling had been my life! my way to a better life, my ticket out of the serenity of the rural landscapes and into the madness of the fashion industry..
so after a mourning period of about 20 years, my friends and family finally convinced me that i had been focusing on the wrong part of my body and i still had much to give the fashion world.
so without much further adu... i present to you a selection from my new porfolio..

i think you would agree with my friends and family who consider this a new benchmark in male face modelling.. yah i know i even throwing in a bit of chest in one of them.. but i was never one to follow rules! LOL
i hope you get as much out of them as i do.. and wish me luck!
big love
