Enjoin what is right, and forbid what is wrong. That is a basic translation of the subject title. I type it as I say it, so forgive my errors. The subject though, is one that is used to mainly justify telling someone off. People love to drop what I call cement haraam blocks on the heads of others. Such people get the short end of my patience. Calling someone out on something is to be done with the utmost discretion. If your intention is to humiliate someone while doing this, you've not applied the first instruction in the phrase.
