Not too long before Scott & denis were born Bob was the same age that they are now.  Here's a picture of Bob playing his Martin D35, standing behind his Multivox keyboard and harmonizing with Greg Zant.  They are also harmonizing with Greg's brother Ken and John Prianti who are not in the picture.  Al Jenkins who usually played drums is playing tambourine in the Southern Comfort rendition of 'Amy'.  I suspect that the finger framing the picture on the left belongs to Amy.

One day in the late 70's Bob's friend, Steve Courter, brought Bob to Al's basement to introduce him to his friend John's band.  They had been rehearsing in Al's basement for a year and were ready for their first audition at Governor's Pub in Oakdale, LI.  Bob offered to do sound.  This turned into a weekly gig and Governor's Pub turned out to be too small a venue for the band's numerous fans.  The move to Neptune East was preceded by Bob's promotion from soundman to keyboardist, vocal arranger and third guitarist.  Steve got promoted from Roadie to Soundman.

I just found out that curly haired guy standing next to me is looking for a lead singer for his current group Back Alley.  They're located in my old stomping grounds East Northport Long Island (NY).  You can find them on my top friends.
