It should be fairly evident by now that GT has been and still is primarily a recording band, not necessarily because we want it to be that way, it's just the way things are.
We have so far recorded some 7 songs, all new to GT, and there is a steady flow of material to choose from. Whereas Came the Morning was in a way a compilation of songs, the concept of this album is more clearly outlined. We have decided to work along the lines of specific themes both lyrically and musically, narrowing down the scope of the material yet focusing our energies on clear, strong messages.
We also decided that everything on this album will be recorded by the current 3 GT members only, presenting both challenges and giving (some of us) more freedom.
One gig is booked on the 5th of June. There will be more this summer. Looking forward to meeting you out there!
