This is my first blog!

Crazy, isn't it.

Just got back from tour with Kaki King.  It was so much fun... got to do all sorts of things I never thought I'd do.  The highlights:

*Playing with Kaki, obviously, was a blast.  Her music just keeps getting better and her newest material is no exception.
*Watching John, Michael, and Shannon play every night.  I was watching them at our show in San Francisco and I think i might have found God, in a way.  The music just seemed so real, so true.  Amazing.
*Kaki and I went to Skywalker Ranch where I got to meet Sean Penn and was privy to a few scenes from his new movie "Into the Wild".  Kaki worked on some of the music for the film, excited to see the final product.

I've been out to see shows every night since I got back... my ear must be aching for loud music.  Addictive, like being hung from hooks in the back.

I'll be headed back down to LA in a couple of weeks to play at the Hotel Cafe. I'll be doing it solo, with my loopers and gizmos.  If you are in the area, please think about coming down.  It would be good to see you.
