Hey guys, Jennifer here.  This week is National Teen Read Week, as determined by the American Library Association and the Young Adult Library Services Association.  I'm strongly encouraging you to read something for fun this week.  I know you all have such busy lives, but reading for fun is really important.  So pick up a book, graphic novel, magazine, even the cereal box, and take some time to read this week.

In honor of Teen Read Week, I'm doing a special program at each library celebrating reading.  Here's the schedule:

Monday 10/19 @ Hart Memorial Central, 3:30-4:30
Tuesday 10/20 @ Poinciana, 3:30-4:30
Wednesday 10/21 @ Veterans Memorial, 4-5
Thursday 10/22 @ Buenaventura Lakes, 3:30-4:30

We'll hang out, talk about good books/graphic novels, and I might even be able to find some coffee drinks for us to have.

We also have Teen Advisory Group this week.  If you're interested in volunteering your time, visit the Veterans Memorial library at 3 pm on Wednesday.  We'll be talking about different volunteer opportunities coming up.
