If you really want to read some of the latest stuff, come over to www.petercase.com then click on pcblog. This is an artchived web log running back two and a half years, with many original writings and an amazing cast of commentators, of whom YOU could be one, any time you desire.

It's really a lot more interesting than what's happening here!

MySpace may indeed suck, but it is a convenient central location for checking out lots of different people quickly and efficiently. Plus, it tells me when you've updated your MySpace blog. Does your website do that? If so, put me on the list!

MySpace is over, it seems?  I can't wait until all of us, the faceless public, goes back to doing what we do best.  Right on.

i wish i could agree with you on this - i usually am right there with ya on most ever-thang; however, myspace has re-connected me with about 40 or more pals i had fallen out of touch with. yeah, the ex's have come out of the woodworks, the ad's are insane, and some stupid shit gets said. but i am able to keep up with folks that i had NOT planned to blow off or fall out of touch with, and let some people hear some of my music and buy it if they wanna. and it makes flyering a helluva lot easier. so, yeah, myspace sux...in the best way possible. xxxcm

In the levels of social interaction, which includes family, friends, teachers, acquaintances and strangers, MySpace has created a new one - the MySpace Friend. Specifically, this is a person, who you only know through MySpace, and in many cases, only because they "friend requested" you or vice-versa. In other words, you don't really know these people at all. In the social interaction chart, these people would be listed just above "Strangers," and below "Acquaintances." I am your "MySpace Friend," although it may not work the other way, since I have known your work for many, many years and I worked for a PR firm that did some work for the Plimsouls in the mid-90s (I was not directly involved). Come to think of it, I may fall somewhere between "Stalker" and "MySpace Friend" - kidding. I could never stalk anyone. That would require way too much effort. - Your "friend"

PS MySpace is lame. I agree with you there.

Just try to think of it as a "forced Republican arts funding" initiative.

Myspace ruined my life... we was doin' this shit before email, before faxes & before the internet. But once you're in you can't get out & that's what truly sucks.

You can get out of whatever you want to get out of, just pretend it isn't there.
