Hello Music Lovers. Looking foward to the impending tour of Oz with Spazzys and Tracey Redhead. The UK shows were probably our best to date. London is as feral and majestic as usual. Many thanks to Jo Ginn for documenting much of the trip with her super-duper camera. ATP at Camber was ace! Imagine a decrepit holiday village in an English coastal town populated by discerning music heads for a weekend and you get the picture. Saw some fine bands. Special mention to the Canadian psych maestros Black Mountain who dedicated one of their songs to their neighbour at the village, Helen the pregnant seagull. "This song is dedicated to Helen, who is just about to give birth to a little bird-child"

Wal was tickled by Howlin Rain's onstage comments about witnessing some locals fornicating on the beach.."right on"...."it was nice" the band exclaimed.

Had some rowdy quality time on the last night of ATP with some mates from Melbourne outside our holiday flat which the volatile Jay Reatard took umbrage towards. He appeared out of nowhere on an ajoining balcony ranting and seemingly picking a fight with all of us...ahhhh punk rock is a way of life innit?? A definite vibe killer but funny in hindsight.
