we had a great time last night playing a freesoul sessions set in paris at the batofar. it's a boat on the river with the club in the hull. ollie from herbaliser was spinning later on, PPP also doing a live set, and us dropping the freesoul madness... joining me were vanessa freeman, tawiah, mystro and richard spaven. a dope sax player as well as singer sandra nkake jumped up with us - the vibe was on point :)

just came across some video from the last jazz cafe freesoul party - on the first video vanessa freeman tears it up, and on the second, baby sol jumped up with us for the first time and came with great energy. hopefully there'll be one more freesoul sessions party in london before i head off to far shores... word as soon as it's locked!
