Well it's my first post on the band MySpace so I thought it was appropriate that I show all the bands new gear!  YAY!!!!!

First, my new beauty, a Bennett Lap Steel named Emmylou :-)

After watching Diana Jones live, Pete had a craving for a tenor guitar so here's his new baby

After some advice from our dear friend Bill Littleton, Gabi was inspired to pick up a beautiful AutoHarp.  It's already adding alot to our sound.

Gabi

We look forward to these beautiful instruments adding another element to The Good Intentions sound.

How cool. Back in the folk pop era of the early 'Sixties, I played upright bass for a group consisting of four male voices, two of whom played baritone ukes -- very much the same as the tenor guitar.  Don't know that any of it was every recorded, but my memories of how much sound we generated are still amazing.  I got a job that involved working at night (we were all in college), so that took me out of the mix; the music situation was changing, so the two guys who had played baris essentially assembled a guitar-and-horns band around the harmonies -- you can Google them as The Swingin' Medallions.  Local legend has it I was their first bass player, but I never played in THAT group; I was in the Dischords. the group TSM evolved from.  The job was a blessing; I was more comfortable with the repertoire of the Dischords than I would have been the latter stuff.  Not bad music, just not what I do best.
