Just back from a 24 hour tour of London, including a crazy drive through the West End, trying to break the Shoreditch to Twickenham land speed record.
But enough of the muso whining. This is a shout out for two wonderful events/venues in London. Alan Tyler (The Rockingbirds) has now moved Come Down And Meet The Folks to the Stags Head, just off Kingsland Road, and it's as good as ever. And Gerry is running a lovely venue at the Cabbage Patch, Twickenham. These guys put in a lot of hard and uncredited work - you all need to get out and support live music in your community.

One congratulates you on your endeavours (and on your relationship with R,I,P,) but hopes that you observed the speed limits at all times.

Hmmm...no comment as to the speed limits.
But thanks for the message.

Thanks for crediting the venues and events!!  Music DEPENDS above all on a place to play.  I moved a Third Thursdays gathering to my home when the venue proved undependable and it worked okay for a while; couldn't do that now but I WOULD!!  I've also thought about having an art and music festival in my yard!!  Fifty cars would clog the cul de sac, so we would almost have to pray to have a small crowd!!!
