..as some of you may know, Nora is on a hiatus of sorts, while we all do things like "get married", "have jobs", "hang out with our kids", and so forth. Because I'm an overachiever, I started a project called TORCHBEARER with our former roadie Sam (he also spent a long while on the road with Burnt by the Sun, and has played guitar for a couple of notable Jersey bands, including the Low End Theory), Dan and Amit from Mother Night/Hellhole, and CJ, who serves time in a number of great bands including Hellhole and RSO. We're finishing up the recording for a 7-song ep, and will be playing our first show next week on 9/19 at the Court Tavern with For the Love Of (featuring Mike O. singing, amazing).
