From May 21-23, 2009, the Nashville Songwriters Association International (NSAI) of Toronto is bringing the 10th Annual Tin Pan North Festival– the Canadian offshoot of the legendary Tin Pan South that takes place each spring in Nashville – to Toronto. It's a festival created to salute the craft of songwriting in all genres, and is co-sponsored this year by KX 96 New Country FM and The Songwriters Association of Canada (S.A.C.). As well, the event is funded in part by the SOCAN Foundation.
For more information and a schedule of performances, visit the Tin Pan North website. To buy tickets, visit the Ticket Window website.

The presenters and panelists include Nashville hit songwriters Aldridge, Taylor and Belford; Elizabeth Spear, Creative Manager at ole Music Publishing Canada; James Linderman, Music Educator, Berklee College of Music; SOCAN's own Rodney Murphy; and producers Jay Riehl and Jason Barry.
