Despite the fact we were plagued by the fickle whims of circuitry and voltage, we had a blast on Saturday. To be so warmly welcomed after all this time is nothing short of humbling and it makes us so proud to be from our tucked-away Virginia home. We want to thank all the bands who took the stage with us. For our money, the line-up couldn't have ruled any harder or kicked any more ass without causing legal problems. A big hand also goes to Kim and Tim Minnema who worked the merch and gophered around the chaos to make all the pieces fall together exactly when and where they belonged. Finally, thanks to Keith MacDonald of large testicular and Rock Academy fame. This dude is single-handedly carrying a scene on his shoulders. Help him out whenever and where ever you can.

To a man, we thank you guys from the bottom of our aged hearts. For 10 years running you've supplied us with a lifetime of amazing memories and kept alive a brotherhood that we would certainly be lessened without. We saw faces we haven't laid eyes on in years and a gaggle of folks who were seeeing us for the first time. Hopefully it was as much a family reunion for you as it was for us.

Be good to each other always and thanks for always being so good to us. We love the fuck outta you guys.

Toward the end of the show, I remember thinking, "I get to see this band ONCE? That's not fair."
I wasn't around here during the DCS heydey. So, it was sort've bittersweet for me.
Despite being in intense pain (knees) from walking on the concrete floor all day, it was the greatest night of music I've ever experienced.
It reminded me of the old concerts by The Beach Boys I used to go to -- you'd see guys n' grrrls and old & young -- all singing along together.
At DCS, everyone knew the words and it was intense, fun and there was a feeling of family throughout the building.
Incredible. :)

Hey Guys, Well shit.. what can I say?? I was there from the beginning in 1997 and I was honored to be welcomed back after living in RI for the past few years. It WAS indeed like a family reunion for me. You guys did great, despite the power issues. It is ALWAYS great to hang out with you guys and the rest of the folks down there in VA. I plan on coming back very soon (like the spring) so hopfully youll be ready to have another show then... haha. Anyhow, it was a grat time, and I am very happy that I made the 1000 mile round trip. - Pete
