This really should be a fun show. . . c'mon out tonight.

From today's Playbook section of the Commercial Appeal:
SOMEWHAT STARRY NIGHT
Local music impresario J.D. Reager first came to people's attention as head of Unclaimed Recordings, the studio outfit behind many Makeshift Records' releases. Recently, the songwriter/instrumentalist/engineer has been stepping out from behind the board, organizing special shows and flexing his musical muscle with his band, the Cold Blooded Three, and a solo album in the works. Tonight, he tries something typically different with the "Night of Some Stars" show at Otherlands. The line up includes several well-known Midtown rockers performing in an unexpected solo setting, including Third Man frontman Toby Vest, Marvin Stockwell of the punk institution Pezz, and Justinedward of the Original Cyndi. Rounding out the night will be stand-up comedy from Chris Hulett, Mary Jordan and Brandon Sams.
