Sooo....updates on the late summer tour!
We are kickin' off in our hometown with a show at Lambert's Steaks, Seafood & Whiskey (August 8), and from there headed to West Texas, New Mexico, Arizona, lovely California, and home again on August 28. Whew! Keep track of calendar updates as details are added and other dates confirmed.
It's so exciting to head out on the road. Nothin' like a van full of three smelly guys and a rosy-smellin' girl (ahem), two lanes, the desert, mountains, blue sky, and instruments to keep us interested. So long as we've got good music on (been really into Orange Tulip Conspiracy, Bulgarian Women's Choir, Fantomas, Ella Fitzgerald, and Hank Garland lately...hm) and a great show to play as the destination, we'll be pretty happy!
If you recommend any venues in your hometown, feel free to share them with me. We've got some days in there where we're still trying to book a gig along the way - we're open to house concerts, festivals, restaurants/cafes/coffeehouses, listening rooms, private parties, heck, we'd even join the circus if the opportunity came along.
So if you see that we'll be in your town or passin' through, hit me up for some suggestions! I'd love to hear your ideas.
