IMH-006. Madame germen. As cicatrices do paraiso. 10". 7 euros. Bajo mi punto de vista una de las mejores bandas europeas junto a ekkaia en eso que hoy en día denominan neocrust. Vinilo rojo en un discazo no muy lejano a remains of the day. One of the best european bands plying what today is know as neocrust and not so far away from ekkaia and above all, remains of the day. IMH-009. Elfo negro. Margenes. CD-digipack. 6 euros. Discazo. Poco más que decir en el segundo largo de estos bilbaínos en una onda endstand, kuraia o el corazón del sapo. Muy recomendable. Digipack en su primera edición y disco en caja de plástico en la reedición. Great record. This is one of the best records of 2005 in the vein of endstand, el corazón del sapo or kuraia. Give it an opportunity. Digipack in the first release and classic release in the second one.

Muy buen y sorprendente debut de esta banda de torrelavega con textos políticos y tocando una especie de emo metal con voz femenina muy melódico a la par que agresivo. Edición en digipack en un disco que creo no te dejara indiferente. Great debut from this spanish band that plays a kind of emo metal very melodic and agressive (not heavy stuff, don..t misunderstand) and female vocals. Digipack release into a very good record to my eyes.


IMH-011. Fuerza de lucha. Entre las llamas. CD. 6 euros. Tras su disco debut y un 7" ahora estan aca una de las bandas más veteranas y activas del panorama old school estatal. En la onda de battery, ten yard fiught o el viejo material de revelation. Their 3rd record after a Cd and a 7" from one of the oldest and more active bands into the old school style of punk hardcore. In the vein of battery, ten yard fight or the old stuff from revelation.

IMH-012. Ictus. Hambrientos de un sol distinto. LP. 8 euros. Una de las sorpresas del año. Podría decirse que están dentro del denominado neocrust pero a la vez no del todo. No se alejan mucho de madame germen o ekkaia pero tiene las dosis de metal que me hacen recordar muy gratamente a catharsis. Vinilo rojito. One of the best bands from 2005. We can include them into neocrust like madame germen or ekkaia but they have a metal touch that reminds me to catharsis (good, really good). Red vinyl.

Y heresy o ripcord. Han recibido el premio a la banda con nombre mas orginal del año 2005 según profane existence. Ahí es nada. Fast, political and raw hardcore punk with political lyric stuff from this basque band in the vein of heresy, ripcord or what happens next?. best name award in 2005 gave by profane existence.

IMH-014. Neila. Unclean. CD. 7 euros. Segundo disco ahora ya sin su cantante original (aunque colabore en un par de temas) con un sonido y composición aplastantes. Letras introspectivas y oscuras donde no hay lugar a positivismos. Podrían ser hijos de neurosis o primos de isis, si es que no lo son. Their second record slower than ever in a dark and depressive atmosphere and introspective lyrics. For the fans of neurosis or isis. This record is a real blast.

Split release with the second record from ictus including two songs reminding to catharsis and the darkest hour and a bunch of songs from this thing called dying, from norway, not far away from victims. Debut de esta banda bilbaina con miembros de elfo negro donde te podras encontrar 8 temas en una onda post hardcore no muy lejos de los primeros fugazi (a quienes versionean en directo) pero con el toque de hardcore rockero de los propios elfo negro. Debut release from this basque band including members of elfo negro with 8 songs of post hardcore not unlike first fugazi (they cover them live) but with a rocking hardcore touch alike elfo negro.

IMH –020. Cordura. La ridícula mecánica de la vida moderna. CD. 7 euros. Segundo disco de cordura esta vez con un largo y presentando 11 temazos. Engancha de principio a fin. Emo rock (por decir alguna cosa) de lo mejorcito del estado y con identidad propia (cosa cada vez mas difícil hoy en día). Incluye un vídeo extra. Te pueden sonar a unbroken pero con melodías con lo cual habrá quien piense en poison the well y similares. Hablkamos de una de las bandas más veteranas dentro del hardcore punk nacional y con identidad propia. IMH-022. Ictus. Imperium. LP. 8,5 euros. Tercero larga duración por parte de los gallegos Ictus con un solo tema dedicado al imperialismo en general y que rompe un poco con sus anteriores discos. Suenan más metalicos, más rápìdos y en definitva cada día lo hacen todo mejor. No muy lejanos de The Darkest Tour, Undying o incluso At the gates pero todavía rezumando crust por todos los costados. De lo mejor que hay por aca. Vinilo rojo. Third record from this Spanish band dedicated exclusivily to Imperialism everywhere and in only one long song. Day by day they are better and possibly the best crust band in Spain. Musicwise they are not so far away from At the gates or The Darkest hour so think about metal crust stuff. Red vinyl.....

Nuevo disco por parte de Destierro, una de las bandas más importantes dentro del panorama crust nacional, con su sonido no muy lejano a los archiconocidos His hero is gone. Cada día van a más y esperando su próximo LP. Por otro lado Iron batasuna nos deleitan con su grind crust bestia cargado de ironía y humor. No hay más que ver su diseño. En definitiva un discazo. Destierro show us their second release of brutal crust not unlike His hero is gone. Improving step by step and of course, one of the most important crust bands in Spain. El regreso de esta banda olvidada en 5 temas de melodía e intensidad no lejano a los primeros tiempos de Ignite, Speak o The killing flame pero con la rabia de otros muchos clásicos del old school. Mas cercanos a California que a New York y material político a todas luces. Upcoming new 5 songs from this old band in spain similar to bands like The killing flame, Speak or first days of ignite but including the rage of classic old school bands, closer to California than New York and political stuff in a really good record.....

John Merrick son Miembros de Fallen, 5000 rpm, Cordura y Neila y ahí se notan las influencias. Podría decirse rockin.. hardcore emotivo en 5 temas donde destaca sobremanera "Una vida de ensueño". Dédalo son ex miembros de Hansoku y nos presentan 4 temas de emometal que te pueden sonar a ratos a Vanilla como a Poison the well o 400 years. Frieda..s still in Love le dan a 3 temas no lejos de lo que hacen Envy pero mucho más metálico. Bonito diseño a cargo de Txori prezziosi produzzione. 3 new spanish bands, John Merrick with 5 songs of rockin..hardcore with an emo touch, Dédalo playing 4 songs of emometal not far away from Vanilla or Poison the well and Frieda..s still in love alike Envy but more metal stuff in 3 songs. En total 11 temas incluyendo una versión de Youth of Today (Can..t close my eyes) no muy diferentes a lo que eran Judge, los propios Youth of Today o Strife en la época de "One truth". Neurosis, Isis o Cult of Luna son algunos referentes de esta pieza de vinilo negro con cuidada presentacion. Una de las bandas del momento en su estilo.
