Hey myspace cadets, I know it's been a while!

My grandfather, after seeing the turn-of-the-century bottles in my trunk, now calls me the female Indiana Jones.  My March obsession of sea glass hunting turned into my April obsession of bottle digging, just like I used to way back when I lived in Sterling.  Last weekend Ramy and I dug this 4 gallon crock out of the Moosup River.

Yes, there's money in it. I'm doing it for the thrill, the history, and if I get lucky, some extra cash.  Plus I have an artsy idea with all the embossed glass shards I've been finding.  So I collect broken glass.  Call me crazy, but just you wait.

Lots more details and pictures at http://mannequinreject.blogspot.com

I post regularly on that blog, maybe I should crosspost to here, livejournal, and facebook?

I had a nasty bout of food poisoning again this week.  Second time in two months, but this one isn't going away as easy.

And I have 113 friends on myspace...surely one of you out there knows how to mount a bike rack to a compact car? --bats eyelashes--  It's one of those that straps to the inside of a trunk, for a car, not an SUV or something.  Ramy and I are just confused to high heaven and some help would be a blessing.  We bought the rack from craigslist for $10 and the old lady we bought it from couldn't find the directions.

Sorry, can't come by Sunday b/c I still have the flea market booth. The bike rack has GOT to be easier than it looks though!

Congrats on the new girlfriend!

Blogging somewhere else? You betrayer! I'm heartbroken. How could you keep this from me for so long? I did visit it and yes, I did know you in middle school. Visited your house once, too, in Sterling., but I don't remember a coop.

Sorry, no experience with a bike rack. Hope the previous poster can help you there.

Ah! The only chicken coop that wasn't converted for other uses that was on the property fell down in 1995. We had two other coops, one converted to a shed, and another converted to a greenhouse (most of which collapsed in 1990).

The large chicken coop that burned across the street was behind a large grove of pine trees 350 feet from the main road and therefore, not visible. That's why when Patrick and I stumbled upon it we were quite surprised, because we had no idea it was there.

I'm sorry I broke your heart! Blame the internet, there's pieces of me everywhere but no one place has my full attention! -cries-

Megan, you're a true wanderer - in life and online. I guess you can't keep a free spirit locked up. I'll try to follow those pieces, though I don't think I can comment on your other website without subscribing. That might be a dilemma. *thinks* I may just post comments here. I'll follow you. but I don't want to assume a million identities in the process. I'm a simple girl. :)
