Current mood:Horny but in post coital bliss
Category: Life
Hello loved ones, friends and fans of myself and our crew with The Pat Savage Band. This massive myspace thing has turned out to be a phenomenan for us in many ways. Not only has myspace gifted me with the one true love of my life and perfect match (finally granted to me at 46 yrs young!) and that this was a one in a 80 million chance is an amazing fact (thanx to you Tom) to find her here amongst all the multiple choices.

I love you baby with all that I am! Awe... cute little Savage.

Here's some more positive myspace/savage connection news for you. I am now blessed to be one of the co-organizers of what could easily be the "Daytona Bike Week" of the midwest USA, our very first to be annual event: "Michigan Bike Week" to be held in July 2007. Set in the beautiful scenic Muskegon area of western Michigan, the riding and the weather is superb this time of year. We have many local pubs and several outdoor stages set up it will rock in the musical department! You know Im makin sure of that! I am co ordinating all the entertainment so if your in a band there are still a few spots left to fill contact me with your info.

Having been a resident of Detroit for some years I played all over the area and its gorgeous riding country with a lakeside feel to it. Theres a new ferry running direct from Miliwaukee and those of you hailing from Chicago, Toledo, Indianapolis, Cleveland, hell all bikers from Wisconsin, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kentucky, Ohio, Tennesee, Pennsylvania, NY residents hell from all over the midwest and beyond are welcome! Lets rock MBW in 2007!

And of course all you crazy canuck bikers too!!) Come check out MBW early as we are doing some serious early bird biker deals and all you beautiful gals I have as my friends should consider entering the "Miss Michigan Bike Week" competition with big prizes and lots of fun. We have the V Twin Girls involved with us as well as several prominent and several "on the rise" bike builders like Vinny over at Detroit Choppers and Nino at Chopzini Customs. We will be filming the event for our Discovery Channel series "A Bikers Lifestyle...The Savage Roads".

We have surged in friends & membership numbers since I started this madness late in January. We are almost 5200 strong today! I have no more control over this anymore as we are now rehearsing in Amsterdam for our upcoming Cd recording this weekend in Luxembourg, and our 22 country Bikes & Blues 2006 Tour has begun!

Anybody ever heard of an album recorded live in Luxembourg? It's our third year headlining there and the bikers come from France, Belgium, Holland, Germany and beyond. It's going to be a live double gonzo 2 disc collection of our brand new Harley tunes sprinkled with a few old favorites from "Wild World" and "Hog Wild". Disc two is all your biker favorites like Born To Be Wild, Voodoo Child, Cant You See and Sweet Home Alabama.

Our current releases "Wild World" and "Hog Wild" by the way, are still on sale at wholesale prices till June 1st and we are looking for more distributors all over the world. Good money to be made from our music and spin off products from the Discovery series. Lets talk.

We have started a Pat Savage Blues Band site for all you more purist blues rock nuts and non bikers (bikers welcome of course!) since, after all, we are still an award winning blues band. As time allows, in between the full blown biker event madness we are experiencing, we play blues festivals and blues clubs! Come over and hear tracks from our blues outings "Made In Detroit" and "Wild World".

We would like to announce our proud signing with Sonic Wave Music in the UK, Holland and Germany. Great people, well connected and the first agents I have trusted in years to take some of the load off our Savageworks Intl staff in the booking department. If things go well, and I am certain they will, they could start handling all my non biker event European bookings. We are happy to welcome Neils, Andy and Lee to our happy family and lets rock boys!

I have to go memorize some of my own words now! This is the first sort of update I've done here. Hope it's legible and enlightening. Expect more from me and the band and please stop by and say hello on our comments box. Tell me what you think of our tunes and take advantage of our 2 for 1 CD deal while it lasts!

Keepin it real live...

Pat Savage

Great blog Pat!

I would love to make the trek to the FIRST upper Michigan Biker festival in 2007.
I have a suggestion for you...
How about a Stage for 70's style jamming, blues, free form, etc.
I would definitely be UP for that.
By the way, I am totally digging your BLUES project.
We are talking MY roots, Cream, Hendrix, Ten Years After, early Led Zeppelin.....

Cheers!
Victor
