Re:  "I Loved You Too Much"

I composed this song, strictly from a man's point of view.  After it's release, I was asked to serve as the USA national spokesman for abused women.

Partly based on the O.J. Simpson tragedy that befell Nicole Simpson, it occurred to me that a man can love a woman, if you want to call it 'love,' to the point it becomes an obsession.  I believed this lyric had to be presented to the public, targeted to men with obsessive traits, such as extreme jealousy, anger, insecurity and whatever else may cause men to lash out, violently.

I want this song to continue to grab violent men's attention, to help prevent them from lashing out, in any way, toward the women they supposedly love.

"I Loved You Too Much" primarily contains questions a man could, should or would ask himself after committing a senseless act of violence.  Hopefully, in asking, he would calm down and give himself the gonads to stop, think and say, "Am I loving her too much?"
