I'm not usually too much into personal charts or year-end lists (primarily, because my preferences can change pretty quickly). But when a co-worker asked me to do a mix of my favourite tunes of the year for Radio FM4's '2008on45' broadcast, I thought it was an interesting challenge to go back and revisit the tunes that made up the soundtrack to my life in 08. Still, this is by no means a definitive list, since mixability, vinyl-ownability and last-minute changes of mind excluded a couple songs and brought in others. Anyway, I hope you'll enjoy:
