RCMP in Strathmore, east of Calgary, are looking for three to five white men in their mid-20s in relation to an alleged attack on a 14-year-old girl.
Police claim the girl was sexually assaulted just after midnight on Monday in an alley behind the Co-op liquor store in the town.
The RCMP received a call about two hours later.
The alleged attackers left the scene in an older-model, red muscle car with faded, chipped paint. Silver primer can be seen on some parts of the vehicle, said police.
Investigators released descriptions of three suspects on Monday evening.
One man, about six feet tall with a muscular build, had tattoos covering both arms with a short buzz-cut hairstyle.
Another was wearing a white T-shirt with the slogan "Protest the Hero." He's also described as muscular and about six feet tall.
A third man, also with a muscular build, had a full tattoo on one arm and a star tattoo on the underside of his wrist on the other arm. He was about five feet, six inches to six feet tall with a short, buzz-cut hairstyle.
