Current mood: hopeful Category: Writing and Poetry
Hail all; I decided to keep my "An Heathen Reader" at Blogspot, too. But I am doing away with the "Live Journal" space with which I've done nothing. I'm also writing occassionally at "Helium.com". I received my copy of "Layers in the Well" by Ermund Alderman of the Sasisk Thiod the day before yesterday. Today, I read it during my lunch break; about 25 minutes straight through. To give it the high praise one of my scout leaders would give a boy at the camp fire who told a good story; "What a ripping good yarn!" This little book about the history of the Continental Saxon people is very well written and is very engaging of one's attention. The facts are presented in a manner at once very informative and entertaining. I'm glad that this book (published through Cafe Press) came into my possession. I'm looking frward to more books enlarging the study of the Continental Saxons. -- May the Holy Aesir and Vanir strengthen us. May our Blessed Forebears see us as worthy. May we ever build for Kin, Kith and Community.
