Day 2: Bass

The day started at 9.30 when the other guys woke up, I (as usual) felt sleepy enough to wake up nearly two hours later. Maybe the last night in local bar has something to do with it? Yesterday we went to local music store and the clerk was fair enough to sell me bass strings on discount. But back in the studio I realised that the motherfucker sold me wrong kind of strings. So the first thing in the morning was to go back to the store and yell at the guy. And it ended up well, the guy gave me way more expensive strings in exchange. With a good feeling and a brand new pack of strings in my pocket I went to Anttila to buy some beer. After I got back we started to record the bass tracks. The soundcheck for the bass was quite fast, Janne Germany created a kickass sound for me pretty quickly. We recorded two songs, "Little Loner" and "One For The Road". The last song, "Swallow It" will be recorded tomorrow, unless our drinking gets out of hands AGAIN! The recording itself was quite fast, it took less than hour to get every low notes on the hard drive. Right now I'm feeling quite well, (maybe because of the beer) but the goddamn pinball machine makes me angry. Maybe I just smash it to million small pieces. Now we are concentrating on beer and eating refreshing microwave meals and maybe later in the night we'll go to see if there's nothing to see in the heart of Hämeenlinna.
