We had just gotten back from 8 days in Orlando, and life was slowly returning to normal. Tonight was supposed to be Cat’s birthday celebration at Rosie’s in Ferndale, but she cancelled on me at last second. Angelic Form asked me if I wanted to go to The Street tonight. We had not done as much “clubbing” in Orlando as Angelic Form had wanted, so as far as he was concerned, he needed to make up for lost time. Though I had managed to make my own plans, I decided to double book. Last night while Angelic Form caught up with Brian, I had found myself talking to this person online. I will from now on call him Straight Form. Straight Form had agreed to hang out with me tonight. I was really not in the mood for The Street or any establishment like it tonight, so I told Straight Form that I would meet him at the original place I had intended to go tonight: Rosie’s.

Before meeting Straight Form, I found myself at the Bates Hotel with Kristen and Angelic Form. Kristen decided that she too wanted to go to The Street tonight. I finally caved and told them that I would come get them after I was done with Straight Form. To Ferndale it was. Straight Form texted me and told me he was already there and sitting at the bar. I went inside to meet his straight form. Straight Form was decent looking, and was already being straight and sipping on a beer. Since I highly disliked beer, I got cranberry vodka. Straight Form and I sat and talked about everything from his job (which he had to be at early tomorrow) and my vacation. Suddenly, out of the corner of my eye, I noticed two figures enter Rosie’s. I did not want to believe it, but I looked again and I saw them. It was Kristen and Angelic Form!

I guess being board and waiting for me bumped up curiosity in them and they decided that they would come and barge in on my date. I did not know what to do. I froze as Kristen and Angelic Form sat right behind Straight Form and me. I decided to ignore them and act like I had no idea who they were. The worst part was that Straight Form kept looking back at Angelic Form every couple seconds. I ordered another drink and continued to try and talk to Straight Form. Straight Form got up and went to the bathroom and I instantly let Kristen and Angelic Form have it as they tried to explain themselves. I told them we were about to leave. Straight Form came back and cashed out his tab. He asked if I wanted to walk around. I told him sure. We left Rosie’s and walked up the alley way to 9 Mile. When we reached the corner, we saw this girl on the pony. She was drunk and begged us for a quarter so she could ride that thing, since she obviously was not getting the real thing tonight. Straight Form and I simply laughed as he friend came up and said “oh ignore her, she does this every week”.  Straight Form and I walked off in total amazement.

We walked down and saw what was to be the new Rosie’s. This looked bigger and better. As we walked and talked, I heard Kristen’s laugh down the street a few blocks behind us. My friends were still on our tail. We decided to walk back toward Woodward and bar hop. First we walked into the Post Bar, which was extremely lame. We left the Post Bar and continued to walk down Woodward. We walked across the street to this bar called “The Underground”. This bar literally was underground and pretty much looked like it was in someone’s basement. There we stood as we watched Michael Jackson videos play on the screen. We finally decided to leave the underground and return to above ground. We started to walk back down on 9 Mile. Straight Form was hungry, as was I. Straight Form suggested that we go into BDubbs for a snack.

We sat down and Straight Form ran to the bathroom. Angelic Form called my phone and told me that they had parked behind BDubbs! I did not know what to do. Straight Form came back and I acted normal. I decided to order chips. I asked for just the cheese, but when my food arrived the chips had like a million things piled on them! I did not want to complain so I ate just a few of them. After we were done eating, I walked Straight Form back to his car because he had to get to bed so he could get up for work the next day. I ran to my car and met Angelic Form and Kristen at Burger King. I told Angelic Form that we were not going out but that we could go to Kristen’s and drink. We went back to Kristen’s and hung out for the rest of the night. I ended up passing out on the couch until Angelic Form woke me up and told me I needed to take him home. What a night! It’s like Florida never ended!
