Hi everybody... I'm not much up on the blogginsphere. Is that what you call it? Great.

I'm a notorious un-visitor of my own sites. But. I have a new CD in the making, tentatively titled "Kickin Tires", due for completion in early 2009. So that's gotten me in here. I'll write some more soon on the song line up, the players I have coming in, and various engineers who are helping out with it. Some kind of U.S. touring will follow the release. I miss the road! I'll be sending it around to a few hundred radio stations who've played my stuff in the past and see where I land.

Other news: I have some help now with my booking and book keeping here in NoCal, and at the little art and music space I opened two years ago. With prompting and tech support from Susan and Allison, as they are my left brain now, I'll be more on top of this stuff between tours and with my other artistic endeavors. We'll also be putting updates and downloads at the www.michaelmcnevin.com site, and at CDbaby.com where I'm also now selling CDs. I believe CDbaby.com in turn will be getting me into the I-tunes pile and other outlets. What a web we weave. Umm. I think myspace.com is also now able to sell single songs here and there, so I'll see about setting that up too - should be fun!

I will be less of a ghost once all this new stuff gets rolling. Mailing lists and touring news for fans and friends will hopefully be kept current. Wish me luck, and I'll wish you luck too :).
