RadioRennie Pilgrem - IDJ Magazine 9/10 The Beat Surrender Wears The Trousers – The Fly Alternative Ulster NME Rock Sound After gaining rave reviews and great radio support for our debut album ‘Hey Weirdo!’ and debut single ‘Don’t Be Fooled by The Romance’ we're back with our new single ‘We Are Your Diversity’. Picking up from where last single ‘Don’t Be Fooled By The Romance’ left off, ‘We Are Your Diversity’ mixes punk vocals, distorted bass lines and pounding 4/4 drums, with intergalactic sirens and sci-fi theme synth lines. And 'cos we're extra nice to you we're putting out a super, special remix single 'Belladonna At The Bada Bing', too which we're really excited about, all the tracks sound HUGE-so big licks to our remixers, you're all stars! We've recieved the ‘diverse’ remix treatment from Soulbasics, aXXo, and Gumbo-YaYa. SoulBasics have been producing house music since early 2006 with earning them respect from some of the scene's biggest names and guest mixes on numerous radio shows across Europe. Since then SoulBasics has appeared on labels such as Seamless Recordings, Grooveland Music, Seed Recordings and Just Deep Music, spreading the Soulbasics sound worldwide. Projects have involved remixes from Jay Tripwire, Boddhi Satva, Martijn, Brazillian Soul Crew and Kid Massive to name just a few. The second track comes from a Mercury Music Prize nominee working under a pseudonym. Their identity remains a secret for now! The final remix comes from DJ/producer James Tarn AKA Gumbo-YaYa, who has produced music for the likes of Bamboo Soul from Ritons Switch label, The Extremists of Skitz's Titan Sounds crew and Def Tex affiliate D.P.F along side his own compositions. His unique style of hip hop production and has been compared to the Beastie Boys by Hip Hop Connections Mike Lewis of Lewis Recordings and said by Live Sciences to be "one of the most interesting things to come out of UK hip hop scene." Both singles will be available to download from 9th Nov from iTunes. We've got some mint gig dates coming up too, hope you can make it to one of the shows. We're especially looking forward to bringing it all home with 'A Night Of Vandalism' at The Forum, Darlington on 20th Nov. Our record label 'Vandal' is coming up from Leeds with two other bands, the lovely 'Kiara Elles' and popsters 'Delorean Drivers' for a monster music mash up-we can't wait!
