I was interviewed recently by Time Out New York for an article on Lolita fashion and culture. My lolita persona is Chu Chu Bubblegum. She's my way of giving homage to all those bubbly girls from "Ecchi" Anime that love showering their male/female conterparts with overt displays of affection!
On this shoot I worked with LilHevn, designer of Cosplay, Gothic and Sweet Lolita. She's an awesome person to work with and totally understands Japanese Culture and Lolita Lifestyle. I've met many people into Japanese culture and fashion but this lady takes the cake. She taught me a lot about Ganguro and lolita. I thank her for it, lol! I have a new appreciation for lolita in general and my fellow Akibara/ Harajuku people!
William R. Macleod was the fashion photographer for this shoot. He is the Mcgyver of photography! Totally a blast to work with and his skills with a camera are so good it's a sin!
